Journal of Indian Society is Remote Sensing (JISRS) has been making substantial growth since last 50 years with the continuous efforts put by all the editors and the editorial board members of the journal.

Reviewing a manuscript is very essential to assure the quality of the manuscripts published in any journal. JISRS has a large team of experts as reviewers from different organizations and academia for assessing the suitability of a manuscript for the publication which has helped in improving the quality of the submitted manuscripts.

To appreciate the efforts and hard work of the reviewers, Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS) has constituted awards for 5 Best Reviewers of the year for their contributions towards the growth Journal of Indian Society of Remote Sensing (JISRS).

• One member as nominee from ISRS EC

1. The award is to be presented during the Annual Convention and National Symposium of ISRS held each year.
2. The award consist of an appreciation certificates.
3. Out of 5 best reviewers, only 2 of the reviewers shall be provided the wavier in registration fees, travel and accommodation support during the National Symposium and Annual Convention(if requested). The final evaluation will be done by the committee members.
